Verizon inadvertently posts Android 13 changelog for the Samsung Galaxy S22 update

Samsung is in the final stages of rolling out the stable OneUI 5.0 based on the Android 13 update to the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Surprisingly, the Verizon-based Samsung Galaxy S22 recently received October 2022 Security Patch and as per the changelog, the device also received an Android 13 update. However, later a Redditor (via Sammobile) confirmed that the update doesn’t feature the Android 13 update, and the changelog seems to be inadvertently pushed by Verizon.

However, the Galaxy S22 is receiving the October 2022 Security patch via the firmware version SP1A.210812.016.S901USQS2AVI1. Here’s the official changelog:

What’s changing:

This software update brings the latest Android OS 13 and One UI 5 enhancements. BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) has also been enabled.

Additionally, the Korean giant is expected to launch the stable Android 13 update for the Galaxy S22 by October 2022. However, it is currently in the testing phase. All the other flagship devices like the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S21 series, and Galaxy A52 all are set to get the Android 13 by this year.

Samsung is also pushing Camera Watermark features for the Galaxy Flagship devices. It is recently revealed the Galaxy S22 series will soon get the ability to customize shutter speed, ISO, and other parameters while sing Hyperlapse Mode.

Interested users can download the Samsung OneUI 5.0 wallpapers and can even know when their devices are set to get the Android 13 update.
