Vivo registers a new Pad name on EUIPO Trademark

Last year, Vivo trademarked several product names including the Vivo Pad tab. The company’s first tablet was expected to debut in January, but there were no words from the Chinese giant. It is now in the air again as the tab receives the European IP Office trademark.

Earlier this month, the first Vivo Pad appeared in the TUV Rheinland certification authority. Now the tablet has received the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) trademark. This indicates that the company is not far away to enter the tablet category.

In the European IP Office, Vivo Pad is trademarked under Class 9. For the unawares, the Class 9 classification includes product categories such as tablets, computers, and PDAs.

However, the listing on the European website does not reveal any key specifications of the upcoming pad. But, the previous leaks on the TUV website suggest that the tab will ship with a typical 8,040 mAh battery. Furthermore, the upcoming Vivo smart device will feature a full-screen display. In the shooting department, the Vivo tab will equip a dual-camera setup at the rear. The volume and power buttons will appear on the right side of the device.

Vivo is likely to launch its first tablet in the first half of this year. Though, the exact date of release is still unknown at the moment. As of now, this is all the information we have in our hands regarding the upcoming Vivo Pad. But we will make sure to keep you all posted with any further information collected, so, stay connected!
