Xiaomi Mi5s and Mi5s Plus are Official today with Snapdragon 821 and Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor

After the Lots of rumors today, finally Xiaomi launched its Mi5s and Mi5s Plus Officially in China. The main highlight of the phone is Snapdragon 821 and Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor. Moreover, Both the phones are packed with high-end specs inside.

xiaomi mi 5s plusBoth Xiaomi Mi5s and Mi5s Plus comes in two variants which are differentiated on the basis of RAM and internal storage. Xiaomi Mi5s features a 5.15-inch IPS Full HD display, it is powered with 2.15GHz Snapdragon 821, it is paired with 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 64GB / 128 GB respectively. It is packed with 12MP 1/2.3-inch Sony IMX 378 sensor primary camera with 4K video, PDAF, OIS, dual-LED flash and 4MP camera with 1080p video recording front camera.

On the other hand Xiaomi Mi5s Plus only have slightly better specs which includes a 5.7-inch Full HD display, it is powered with 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821, it is paired with 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128 GB respectively. It is packed with Dual 13MP cameras as primary camera with 4K video, PDAF, OIS, dual-LED flash and 4MP camera with 2.0µm pixels front camera.

xiaomi-mi-5s-plus-4Where as when we come to Connectivity and security options they almost same i.e Qualcomm’s Sense ID ultrasonic fingerprint sensing tech, 4G+ with 3x carrier aggregation, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC, GPS, USB-C with Quick Charge 3.0. However, there is a little change in the battery capacity i.e. Xiaomi Mi5s is packed with 3000 mAh Battery and Xiaomi Mi5s Plus is packed with 3800 mAh battery.

Both the phones are available in Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and White color options. Moreover both these will be available to buy in China from this Thursday. Coming to price Mi 5s with 3GB of RAM and 64GB storage will retail for ¥1,999 ($300, ₹20,000). The variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage will be available for ¥2,299 ($345, ₹23,000). Meanwhile, the Mi 5s Plus with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage will launch for ¥2,299 ($345, ₹23000), and the high-end model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage will set customers back ¥2,599 ($390, ₹23000).
