Android Nougat is now available for selected LG G4 models

We’re now exactly a month away from Android Nougat’s first anniversary. While Android O is arriving soon, there are still some devices which have not been updated to Android Nougat. All credit goes to Android Fragmentation!

Thankfully, most of the devices have already been updated and some are in line. The LG G4 is one of the devices for which Android Nougat is now available. The availability is only limited to LG’s home country of South Korea and is only accessible through the LG Bridge app. This is to note that the update is currently available for F500S, F500L, or F500K models only.android nougat is now available for selected lg g4 models

If you own any of the LG G4 variants as stated above, you can download the Android 7.0 Nougat KDZ from XDA developers. These KDZs can be flashed onto the LG G4 to get Android Nougat.

As of now, there is no information on when LG is going to roll out OTA update for the LG G4 but it is expected to roll out soon. In the meantime, you can manually install the update if you own F500S, F500L, or F500K variants for the device.
