Essential Phone receives a new Camera Update, No more Sluggish Camera app

Last year Andy Rubin has showcased its first smartphone known as the Essential Phone PH-1. The device packs solid hardware but falls short in terms of software. As reported by a number of users the biggest weak part of the device is its software and specifically, the camera app is as slow as molasses. Today the official Twitter account of the firm had made an announcement regarding the new update which will be coming to the device. Let’s check out some in-depth information about that camera update.

Basically Essential is rolling out a new Camera update for the device. The Camera app of the Essential phone was lacking in a number of modern features and at the same time was too sluggish to handle. No doubt the device was backed by a strapping processor but still, the app fails to deliver the expected results. As described by Essential the new updated Camera is fast and it performs faster almost in every aspect including the Burst mode.

A brand will never condemn its own technology and even after the app update community is still not satisfied. As reported by a user the app still works comparatively slower than the traditional Google app. On the other hand, multiple users have requested for the Professional mode in the camera app. Essential should be aware of the fact that we are living in 2018 and still their flagship device doesn’t even offer a full-fledged Pro-mode which these days is available on a budget phone. In case you forgot, let me give you a quick overview of the device’s specifications.

Essential Phone comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. In the front, it possesses a 5.71(inch) IPS LTPS Bezel-less display with a tiny camera notch on the top. It has a 13MP rear and an 8MP front snapper. The device runs on a 3040mAh battery and is available in a variety of colors.
