Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch is still far away but the rumours and leaks have started to arrive. The smartphone seems to carry three models like the previous S22 series. It will comprise the standard Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. You can check all the Galaxy S23 leaks and rumours here:

Samsung Galaxy S23 (SM-S911U) Appears on Geekbench, confirms Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Samsung Galaxy S23 is recently spotted (via GalaxyClub)  Geekbench revealing some unknown specifications and the Single and Multi-Core Benchmark results. As per the Geekbench database, the Galaxy S23 (SM-S911U) appears to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset while running Android 13 (OneUI 5.0) out of the box.

Forking further, the chipset seems to feature the primary core with a clock speed of 3.36Ghz, the middle ones with 2.8GHz and the energy-efficient cores at 2.02GHz.

Furthermore, the device scores 1,524 points in Geekbench’s single-core CPU test and 4,597 points in the multi-core CPU test.

Galaxy S23 series Camera and Battery specs revealed

Some leaks have revealed the battery and camera capacity of the upcoming Galaxy S23 series. Starting with the Galaxy S23+ is tipped to pack a 4565 mAh battery with a typical capacity of around 4,700mAh. On the other hand, the high-end Galaxy S23 Ultra is likely to ship with a 4,855 mAh with model number EB-BS918ABY. The typical capacity will be of 5,000mAh.

In addition, there are some leaks in the optics department as well. The leaks claim that the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra will carry a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens on the back. To recall, the top-tier model is suggested to carry a massive 200 MP rear camera.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is set to feature 200Mp primary sensor as per reports from Galaxy Club. There are no other details regarding the other camera sensors.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC for Galaxy S23 can be different

As per the Ice Universe tipster, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC for the Galaxy S23 series could be different. instead of two Cortex-A720 cores, the new chipset will feature a pair of Cortex-A715 cores. Also, the maximum clock speed of the Cortex-X3 will be 3.2GHz and the Cortex-A510 will clock at a speed of 2GHz. In addition, the Cortex-A715 and Cortex-A710 cores will have clock speeds of up to 2.8GHz.
Originally, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has a 1+2+2+3 configuration. This includes one Cortex-X3 CPU core, two Cortex-A720 CPU cores, two Cortex-A710 CPU cores, and three Cortex-A510 CPU cores.

Galaxy S23 camera design revealed

We finally have our first look at the Galaxy S23. The lineup is not much different from the Galaxy S22 in terms of design. However, the camera module is revamped. In fact, there is no camera setup. The three lenses stand out individually itself. According to the leaks, the vanilla model will feature a 6.1-inch display with a centre-aligned punch hole cutout. The device will have slightly thicker bezels running around it. It can support a 120Hz refresh rate and measure 146.3 x 70.8 x 7.6 mm in dimensions

Galaxy S23 Ultra leaks on 3C certification

Samsung’s next flagship launch is nearing, but still, a few months are left before the official launch. However, the leaks and regulatory certifications have started appearing on the web. The Galaxy S23 Ultra was recently leaked on 3C (via SamMobile) which confirms the device model number as SM-S918 and the presence 25W EP-TA800 wall charger. Surprisingly, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature the same wattage support as Galaxy S22.

Galaxy S23 may get a larger battery

The latest rumours about the Galaxy S23 suggest that the series will pack a bigger battery. However, it is unsure if the capacity will be increased for all devices. Reportedly, the base model can see a 5% increase compared to the Galaxy S22. On the other hand, we can see the same 5,000 mAh battery on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Samsung wants to use Exynos chipset

So far, the Galaxy S23 series was rumoured to run Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor under the hood. However, the latest leaks indicate that Samsung might want to continue with the Exynos chipset as well, depending upon the region.

The Samsung MX department hopes that the Galaxy S23 series will use Qualcomm Snapdragon processors in all regions. However, the company wants to continue using some Exynos chips. In this regard, Samsung’s mobile phone department expressed dissatisfaction.

Galaxy S23 battery passes through certification

We can expect Samsung to take the wraps off the Galaxy S23 series in February 2023. In the meantime, the device’s battery has passed through certification. The Safety Korea listing reveals the Galaxy S23+ battery with the model number EB-BS916ABY. Unfortunately, there are no further details on this yet. Although the device is likely to pack a 4,676 mAh or 4,878 mAh power cell.

Galaxy S23 Camera details

It’s been quite some time since the details about the upcoming Galaxy S23 series are leaking in wild. This time too, famous tipster, @UniverseIce has shared some details regarding the Galaxy S23 Ultra camera module. The device is “100% confirmed” to come with a 200MP camera along with 0.6µm pixels on a 1/1.3” sensor with an f/1.7 aperture in front.

Most probably, it would be a new sensor that will be launching along with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The present 200MP sensors i.e ISOCELL HP1 and HP3 more likely to have smaller sensors. Moreover, it will be bigger than the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s sensor and will be a bit small than the Android flagships that will launch next year.

Galaxy S23 series to feature same display and resolutions as Galaxy S22 lineup

According to the latest leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will feature the same display size phones and resolution as the Galaxy S22 lineup. Besides the dimension changes, the rest of the family will resemble the predecessor. Also, the upcoming models will be an inch taller and a bit wider. But again, the screen size and resolution remain the same.

Samsung Galaxy S23 will sport a 6.1-inch Full HD+ display with 1080 x 2340 resolution, whereas the screen size of the Plus model will be 6.6-inches. On the other hand, the Ultra variant will feature a large 6.8-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels.

Galaxy S23 & S23 + would be unchanged to a large extent!

According to Ice Universe, both Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 + won’t offer any major upgrades over the existing smartphones. However, both devices will sport the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The tipster added that it would feature the same screen, cameras, design, and a similar battery.

Galaxy S23 Ultra would get a less curved panel!

In another tweet, he said there had been an increase in width in the middle frame. The upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra would have a less curved display. The Galaxy S23 Ultra would also feature a Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. There are rumours that it will feature faster storage which will probably be the UFS 4.0. Another addition to the device will be a newer battery process. It will be likely to feature a large 5000 mAh battery.

Other known details of the upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra are a similar display & smartphone size and a camera design to Galaxy S22 Ultra. It will feature a QHD+ Super AMOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the front, it will have a 40MP autofocus front sensor. In contrast, it will feature a huge 200MP sensor on the rear.

Galaxy S23 to run Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with efficient battery

In the latest development, the upcoming Galaxy S23 series is tipped to draw power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. In addition, the Korean tech giant is rumored to emphasize providing better battery efficiency.

As for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the chipset will provide a 25% performance boost with one fast Cortex-X3 core. Also, it will include two Cortex-A715, two Cortex-A710, and three Cortex-A510.

Galaxy S23 Ultra to feature Galaxy S22 Ultra camera design

Keeping up with the latest report by Ice Universe, Samsung intends to bring back the Galaxy S22 Ultra camera design for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The leakster says that he is 100% sure about the simple and natural design to be carried forward. Needless to say, the capacity of the lenses will be improved. However, there is still no word about the front camera display

Galaxy S23 Ultra will possess the same display and size

According to a famous tipster @UniverseIce, the Galaxy S23 ultra will have similarities with Galaxy S22 in terms of display and smartphone size. It will feature a 5000 mAh battery, 8.9mm thickness, and a similar 6.8-inch display will be on board. The smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 8Gen 2+ and run on OneUI 5.0.

Galaxy S23 Series Codenames

While the official release of the next-gen foldable and smartwatch is just a few hours away. The next flagship by the company has started to leak online – Galaxy S23. There are still six months left before the company officially unveils the series. Before that, the model numbers and internal codename of the Galaxy S23 Ultra are revealed.

The Galaxy S23 series will include three smartphones: Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. As for the model numbers and codename, an early firmware build has been released for the first time. Watch out for the picture below:

The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s codename is ‘DM3,’ while the model number is denoted as SM-S918. From the image above, we can see that there are follow-ups to this model. They are SM-S918BDS, SM-S918U, SM-S918U1, and SM-S918W. As you might have guessed, all these model numbers indicate the dual-sim and unlocked versions for different regions.

However, even the associate numbers do not reveal much about the device. But now, we do know that Samsung’s upcoming 2023 flagship is already in the works.

To recall, Galaxy S23 Ultra is tipped to be the first smartphone to house a massive 200MP sensor with an HP2 sensor. At the front, the handset can feature a QHD+ Super AMOLED LTPO display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset can power the device. The leaks claim it will have a 40MP autofocus front sensor and a 5,000 mAh battery.
