Google Android February Distribution Chart Live Now; Nougat Hits on 1% Devices

Google has released it’s february Android Distribution chart. There’s a small difference in the distribution in comparison with the last month.

Nougat is finally above 1.0% across both 7.0 and 7.1, clocking in at 1.2%. Ice Cream Sandwich and Gingerbeard are now level on 1.0% dead, while Jelly Bean sees a 0.3% decrease.

Lollipop 5.1 dropped 0.2% to 23.1%. Marshmallow will continue to raise in the coming weeks, considering that OEMs are still releasing low-end and mid-range phones running Android 6.0, while Nougat is mainly reserved for higher-end models.

Even the high end devices are running Android 7.0, leaving version 7.1 almost solely to Nexus and Pixel devices.

It is expected that Graph for Marshmallow to took pace in upcoming months.
