HCL Launches ME U2, ME V1 And ME Y3 Tablets From Rs. 5,999

HCL has launched three new Android tablets namely HCL ME U2, HCL ME V1 and HCL ME Y3. HCL has gain jumped into the Tablet market in India by launching these tablets. Now it will compete against Micromax, Karbonn, and Zync’s low cost and budget friendly tabs.

These tablets main features are: 3G Video-calling, Voice-calling, Dual-SIM capability, Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), Built-in Wi-Fi Hotspot and educations apps.

Now coming onto each and every Tablet let’s discuss what they consists, availability and price.

HCL ME U2

Its an entry level Android Tablet with price of Rs. 5,999 ($120). It is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 processor with a Mali-400 graphics card and 1GB DDR3 RAM. Its 7-inch WVGA display has a resolution of 800X480 pixels. For run above things it has a 3000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery. It only consists a 0.3-Megapixel front camera.  The ME U2 only offers Wi-Fi connectivity, however it does support 3G data cards. The ME U2does not support 3G but have WiFi to connect to network. There’s lot of space internally as it comes with 4GB of internal storage. You can also expand its torage via microSD card slot up to 32GB. The ME U2, unlike its other siblings, does include the Google Play app store.

We can call this tablet as phablet also as it comes with an integrated voice receiver and call vibrate options as well. It features a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, 4GB of internal memory with a microSD card slot, 7 inch display at WVGA resolution, VGA front camera, 2 megapixel rear camera. HCL ME V1 is priced Rs 7,999 ($160).

HCL ME Y3 comes with dual-SIM support, powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 CPU and fueled by a 1GB DDR3 RAM, 4GB of internal memory with a microSD card slot, 7 inch WSVGA display, VGA front camera, 3.2 megapixel rear camera, 3G and HSUPA network support with SIM slot. Its priced for Rs 12,000 ($240)

  • 1GB RAM
