So here we are with a budget 7 inch tablet from the Chinese company. The Device is nicely priced at the reasonable specs poses with the old Lenovo Trust factor. Being a Budget tablet there is nothing more to be excited about the device than the low price giving decent specs.
Powered with quad-core MediaTek 8389 SOC bonded with a 1 GB RAM is not enough but really can do the Job of a tablet. Lenovo S5000 has a 7-inch 1280 x 800 display, 16GB storage, microSD, 5MP rear cam, 1.6MP front cam and a 3,450 mAh battery(fairly enough). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the device is basically based on a Lenovo UI over the Stock Android ROM.
The device will be launched for an expected price of $262 which is a bit cheaper than the Tablet in the current market.
While Comparing to one of the best Tablets in the market so far we can give this one a win as the Nexus 7 is 10.45 thick and weighs 340 grams, the Lenovo S5000 is just 7.9mm thick and weighs only 236 grams. Also features like Micro SD adds up to neglect the specky aspect and move on with versatility of the device.
