LG G Watch R Officially Gets Priced

LG’s upcoming Android Wear based smartwatch the G Watch R is scheduled for its unveiling at the IFA but LG Germany just took the covers off the smartwatch’s price tag, giving us the exact amount we’d have to pay if you want to get your hands on the G Watch R in the future.

LG_G_WATCH_R_04The round faced smartwatch from LG will set you back by €299 when it will be available in October. This price translates to about $400, which is quite steep when compared to the other smartwatches we have seen so far. But then it is not necessary that watch will come with the $400 price tag across the US and you can expect to go down by as much as $100. Even then, the G Watch R will be costlier than its upcoming competitor the Moto 360 which would be out this September with a price tag of $250.

Which one do you think will grab all the limelight at the IFA 2014?
