LG G5 Unlocked variant starts receiving Android 7.0 Nougat

LG starts rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat on its LG G5. Users are waiting for the update form very long time. Although the locked/Carrier variants of LG G5 already got Android 7.0 Nougat update.

Coming back to this update, It weighs around 1.3 GB in size and includes all the basic goodies of Android Nougat. For example, New Multi-window allows the user to switch between apps with a double tap or run two apps side by side. More personalized settings and smarter notifications allow users to be more productive with less effort. It also includes the enhanced version of Doze.

We recommends you to use Wifi network while downloading the update as it is a large one. Moreover, charge your device up to at least 50% before installing the update.

As this is an OTA update, So it might take some time reach each and every device in the country. Meanwhile you can always check it manually by going through the Settings>>about phone>>software updates.
