LG set to debut foldable smartphone in January at CES 2019

LG, Huawei, and Samsung all are building a foldable smartphone. Until earlier this year, only Samsung was confirmed to be building a smartphone with a flexible design, but later, Huawei and LG also confirmed to be in the same game. Now as an advancement, famous tipster, Evan Blass has revealed that LG’s first foldable smartphone will make debut at CES 2019.

On the other hand, Samsung is also trying to push it to launch in the first quarter of 2019 but Huawei might shift plans to later next year. Still, there is speculation over the exact launch date, but we hope in the upcoming few months we will get to know it before the actual launch happens. Even though, Xiaomi and Lenovo have hummed about the foldable devices which might debut next year.

Moreover, LG and our rumor mill haven’t uttered anything regarding the specification of LG foldable device. But some sources are reporting that it will be available in limited quantities. It’s good that all the manufacturers have started developing the foldable devices as we need healthy competition rather than a monopoly from a single company.

Lifting some old speculations, it is believed that foldable devices such as Galaxy F will carry a price tag of more than $2000. So, LG’s pricing could be just similar? Isn’t it?
