Motorola Moto G8 Play is available in the market for a couple of years. It carries 6.2 inch IPS LCD display and runs Android 9.0 (Pie) platform. The device is now receiving much needed Android 10 Update in Brazil.
Motorola has started seeding out Android 10 to its eligible devices from past months. After months of testing, the brand has confirmed that Moto G8 Play will bag Android 10 OTA update along with December 2020 Security patch.
The device users in Brazil will get upgraded to software version QMD30.47-19 and it is expected to roll out in other regions soon. Amid Android 11 rollout, the company is focusing on Android 10 rollout across some old devices.
As always, Motorola is seeding out update in a phased manner so it may take time to reach out to all the users in the country. However, you can manually check for it by clicking Settings > Software Update.
