Motorola One Macro India launch slated for 9th October

Over the past few days, a new Motorola smartphone has been leaked from here and there. The new device which is expected to be the Motorola One Macro is now being teased on Flipkart revealing its India launch. As per the teaser, the device is slated to debut in India on 9th October.

Lenovo owned Motorola had launched multiple devices under Motorola One branding in India so far. However, they were far from the perfect to be able to compete with other Chinese offerings. With the Motorola One Macro, Moto is aiming high by making a smartphone focused on the camera. As such, the Motorola One Macro is speculated to flaunt some camera prowess, specifically in taking macro shots.

The launch teaser highlights the Macro capability of the smartphone.  The caption #khushianmagnified is nothing but suggests the same. We’ve to wait and see how well the budget Moto performs when taking macro shots. Given the dedicated macro lens is of just 2MP as per the rumour, don’t expect something magical.

As of the other key specifications, previous leaks suggest that the Motorola One Macro will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor and include an HD display. While the Geekbench visit of the device earlier revealed 2GB of RAM and Android Pie OS out of the box. Well, we could expect 3/4GB RAM configuration as well. As of now, there’s no word on the exact camera specifications, but the Motorola One Macro is rumoured to pack in a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP sensor for depth perception, and a 2MP macro lens.
