Motorola unveils new Moto 360 2019 for $349.99

Out of the blue, Motorola revives the original Moto 360 with new internals but with a catch. Motorola is not manufacturing them but a company named eBuyNow will be doing the good deed. It will retail for $349.99 and will be available from early December with pre-order window opening from 12th November.

The Moto 360 was one of the first Wear OS(formerly Android Wear) smartwatches which paved the way for Google’s wearable OS. But we never got to see any new watch from the brand after the 2nd generation series until now. The new Moto 360 which the company just announced is literally the original one with new internals.

New Moto 360 2019 Specifications

The new Moto 360 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The watch features a rotating crown which also includes customizable action buttons to mimic the haptics of classic watches. The watch packs all the necessary sensors such as accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, heart-rate monitor, and ambient light sensor. It also packs NFC for contactless payments through Google Pay. Other connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, and GPS.

The 2019 Moto 360 sports a 1.2-inches circular AMOLED display with 390 x 390 pixels and Gorilla Glass for protection. It supports always-on display and even has a time-only mode to extend the battery life up to 3 days. The casing of the watch is made of SUS316 stainless steel, whereas the strap comes in either PVD coating(Steel Grey and Rose Gold) or DLC coating(Phantom Black) based on the colour you choose.

The watch is water-resistant up to 3ATM pressure and is compatible with both Android 5.1+ and iOS 10.1+ devices. Last but not least, it packs a 355mAh battery which can be charged from 0-100% in an hour.
