Nokia 3 is the cheapest offering from the company which was announced at Mobile World Congress 2017. Nokia even promised Android Oreo update and security updates for the device. And it seems Nokia is good at keeping up with their promise as the device is receiving security updates since its availability.
Recently, the Indian variant of Nokia 3 (TA-1032) started receiving October Security patch along with some stability improvements and user-interface enhancements. But, still the new OTA update did not upgrade the Android version to 7.1.2 like Nokia 6 and Nokia 5.
The major visual change is the new Google search box. The Search box is now circular rather than square as it was earlier. If the notification to update did not hit your device, then simply go to settings and check for updates. As OTA updates are rolled out by phases, it might take time to reach your device. Finally, the update is of 401.1 MB in size.
