OPPO K7 5G with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G unveiled in China

Nearly a year after the release of OPPO K5, OPPO is giving a refresh to the K-Series by the launch of OPPO K7 5G in China. The OPPO K7 is available in two storage variants. The base model is priced at CNY 1,999 (approx. INR. 21,500) and offers 8GB RAM and 128GB primary storage. Its beefed-up counterpart with the 8GB + 256GB storage is priced at CNY 2,299 (approx. INR. 25,000), as per the listing on Chinese retailer JD.com.

OPPO K7 5G Specifications

As per the listing on various e-commerce sites in China, the dual-SIM OPPO K7 runs on ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10. It features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display. As mentioned earlier, powering the phone the mid-range beast SoC, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G Mobile Platform, coupled with the Adreno GPU 620.

Coming to the optics, a quad-camera array is seen in the back lead by a 48MP sensor of f/1.7 aperture. Three other auxiliary sensors of 8+2+32MP resolutions accompany the main sensor. For selfies, you’ll get a 32MP camera with f/2.0 aperture embedded in the dew-drop notch.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, 4G-LTE, NFC, GPS, a USB Type-C port for charging and fortunately a 3.5mm headphone jack. Fuelling the device is a 4,025mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. In terms of dimensions, the Oppo K7 measures 160.3×74.3×7.96mm and weighs 180 grams.

You won’t feel any lack of choice when it comes to colour options, as the OPPO K7 is available in at least 5 different hues. Some of the colour brandings are – Flowing Cloud, Flow Flame, Sea Night, Mystery Black and Perak Lemon variant. It will go on sale starting August 11 and is currently up for pre-orders on various online retailers including TMall, JD.com and Suning.
