Oppo R11 was recently spotted on China’s 3C Quality Certification. After having its specs leaked through a benchmark, the Oppo R11 has been certified by the Chinese 3C authority. This is one of the primary steps for a new phone to launch in the country, so its announcement must be approaching. The first image purportedly showing the R11 was leaked a couple of weeks ago.
So far, so good, the R11 has been rumored to get released with a 5.5-inch 1080p dispaly, 16 MP dual-rear cameras, a 20 MP selfie shooter, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. It’s probably going to be powered by Qualcomm’s still-not-official Snapdragon 660 SoC, the 653’s successor.
The Oppo R11 was already benchmarked running Android 7.1.1 Nougat, so we assume that’s what will be lurking underneath Oppo’s Color OS. If the company continues the tradition of offering two R-series devices at the same time, you may expect a 6-inch R11 Plus to join the R11 in the company’s portfolio. Both handsets might launch in June this year.
