Oppo Watch starts receiving a new System Update with new features in China

Oppo started rolling out a new update for it’s Oppo Watch in China that comes with many new features and reported bug fixes. Additionally, the company has also included 10 new dials and 8 new sport modes, training function, and many more in this update.

Coming to the features, the Watch comes with a new WeChat response feature. It allows the user to reply WeChat messages directly from the watch itself after pairing with the smartphone.

Oppo Watch offers three ways to reply WeChat messages- You need to add a few specific short words before itself so that you can reply in a single click. Coming to the second way, you can send any custom messages of your choice. Last but not least way is using your voice to reply to the message with Xunfei input method. The update also adds four (4) new cities to the watch’s bus function card in China.

The new update also adds the access control card with a frequency of 13.56 Hz. So, the physical access control card is not mandatory to carry it every time as the watch unlocks automatically after touching it. In addition to the features, this update also adds 10 high-end apps in the watch’s app store. The apps include Air Travel, Lazy Listening, and many more. However, they will be added to the store automatically in the upcoming days.

Oppo Watch Specifications

The Oppo Watch was launched earlier 2020 with a 1.91-inch display, 402 x 476 pixels resolution. The watch is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 (28nm) chipset coupled with Quad-core processor and Adreno 304 GPU. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB inter storage.

The watch packs with a 430 mAh battery including Wireless charging support and it runs ColorOS Watch OS out of the box. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC.
