The Android Nougat update brings split screen, new notification shade, revamped Settings menu, separate wallpapers for home screen and lock screen and some under the hood improvements. The update also fixes some bugs and improves stability of the device. The build number for this update is C5000ZCU1BQJ2 and it weighs around 1.4 GB.

Before downloading the update, make sure your device has enough storage space and battery. Also, try to download via WiFi to avoid data charges. If you did not receive the update yet, then go to About Phone section in the Settings of your device. There, select download updates manually under the System Software update option.

This might be the last major update for this mid ranger from the Korean giant Samsung. This is the case with any mid range or budget Android smartphones. Do yo think one major update is enough for these devices? Comment your opinions below in the comment section.
