Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 Appears on Samsung’s India Website

Samsung has earlier launched its mid-range Galaxy J7 Prime in India and now it looks like they are all ready for the launch of its successor. Recently on the official Samsung India website, a new handset named as Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 has been spotted. The website is showing a message out of stock and notify me. It looks like Samsung has accidentally posted its listing on the official website, so let’s check out some in-depth detail about the handset.

As per the specifications present on the website, the handset comes powered by an Exynos 7-series Octa-Core chip clocked at 1.6Ghz coupled with 3GB of RAM. The exact name of the processor has not been clearly specified on the website. This handset sports 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB’s via micro-SD card up to 256GB’s. It houses a regular 16:9 ratio 5.5(inch) FHD TFT display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The handset has a Unibody Metal design which somewhat looks identical to the old J7 Prime. In terms of Camera, the J7 Prime 2 has a 13MP rear snapper with Aperture f/1.9, LED Flash and in the front as well there is a 13MP selfie camera. The handset runs Samsung Experience based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

As suggested by the official website, handset houses a 3300mAh battery. As shown on the website the handset is priced at 13,990 INR($215). The handset packs common connectivity features like 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, etc. The device lacks in options like NFC due to which it doesn’t support the fully faired version of Samsung Pay.
