A couple of days back, Samsung has officially unveiled the new Galaxy Note 20 Series. Within a few days from its release, the devices have started getting a new update with the August 2020 Security Patch. The new update is spinning out as N986BXXU1ATH3/N986BXOXM1ATH3/N986BXXU1ATH3 firmware versions and weighs around 493.84 MB in size. The update size may vary from one to another device.

What’s new?

The new update for the Galaxy Note 10 series features the August 2020 Security Patch, bug fixes, enhancements, and a few improvements to increase the smartphone performance. Apart from these, there were no new features mentioned in the Changelog/release note. However, if the company adds any new features then you will be experiencing them while using the smartphone. The changelog is as follows.

  • Device Stability improvements, bug fixes.
  • New and/ or enhanced features.
  • Further improvements to performance.

The update may take some time to reach all the units as it is rolling out in phases. You can also check the update status manually by heading to Settings>Software updates>Check for updates. In case, if the update hits your device then install it for better and smooth performance. Otherwise, wait until you get it.
