Samsung Galaxy Note 8 May Have 256 GB Storage Option

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is one of the most anticipated smartphone of the year 2017. There is huge number of people who appreciate Galaxy Note series because of its very useful S-Pen and awesome Super AMOLED big display. Samsung had huge loss because of Note 7 fiasco and now it seems like Samsung is working very hard to make the Note series successful and profitable again.

According to The Business Wire, Samsung has begun mass production of 64-layer-3-bit-256GB V-NAND memory chips which indicates that electronic giant, Samsung is planning to release its upcoming phablet, Note 8 with 256 GB internal memory option. The upcoming 64-layer-3-bit-256GB V-NAND memory chip is faster, better and more energy efficient than presently available 48-layer-3-bit-256GB V-NAND memory chip.

64-layer-3-bit-256GB V-NAND memory chip has a data transfer rate of 1Gbps which is 1.5 times faster than 48-layer-3-bit-256GB V-NAND memory chip. The 64-layer chip gives 30% more productivity gain and greater energy efficiency than its predecessor. Also, the new memory chip is 20% more reliable than 48-layer chip. According to various rumors, Samsung will introduce Galaxy Note 8 in August. The upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor, 64-layer-3-bit-256GB V-NAND memory chip, improved S-Pen and design inspired by Galaxy S8. According to recently leaked specs, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 seems to be a powerful comeback by Samsung.
