The Samsung Galaxy Note has been available in white in its native South Korea for around a month, and now it’s time for samsung’s lovers in the UK to get our hands on the cheeky chap.

Bizarrely, the white href=”http://www.samsung.com/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”Samsung”>Samsung Galaxy Note will be exclusive to John Lewis on Oxford Street for several weeks, as of January 23. Hey, that’s today!

At this point, we’d like to draw attention to Dave Robinson’s faux pas, when he stated that the Samsung Galaxy Note would be available in both black and white when it went on sale last November.

We’ve taken Dave out back and popped a cap in his bottom, so don’t expect to hear from him again any time soon. He sleeps with the fishes. Eugh.

Simon Stanford, Managing Director of Samsung’s UK & IRE Telecommunications & Networks Division (phew) yelled: “At Samsung we always want to offer our customers choice and are delighted to bring the Galaxy Note in white to the UK. The Galaxy Note is an innovative addition to the Samsung Galaxy family and a new category of device that consumers can’t get anywhere else.”

As you all know by now, the Samsung Galaxy Note offers a meaty 5.3in Super AMOLED display, S Pen stylus goodness, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8MP/2MP camera combo and – for now – href=”http://code.google.com/android/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”Android”>Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
