Samsung Galaxy S20 series update brings March 2021 security patch

Samsung Galaxy S20 series get March 2021 security patch along with One UI 3.1 update. The update is seeding for all the Galaxy S20 series – Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra.

The old Samsung series like Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Tab S7, and Galaxy 2018 already received March 2021 security patch. Now, the Galaxy S20 is receiving the security patch in the US.

The latest update carries firmware version G98xxXXS6DUBA. The update file size is quite small as for a security patch. The update brings bug fixes and stability improvements along, and the security patch fixes the issue related to the Exynos 990 chipset. The Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra are receiving the update in European countries including France, Greece, et cetera.

The new update will roll out in other parts of the world pretty soon. Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy 20 Ultra users will receive the new update soon on their smartphones. Also, you can go to Settings>About>Software Updates and tap on Download and Install to grab the update manually.
