Samsung may soon launch the Galaxy A6 and A6+ in the US

Since 2015, there has been rumor regarding the Galaxy A6. But, we never got to see this device until now. Recently, the Galaxy A6 along with A6+ were spotted on Geekbench with mid-range specifications. And according to some source, the A6 duo are supposed to launch only in handful regions like Europe, Russia, and Middle-East. But now as the A6 duo gets FCC certifications, it might even launch in the US.

The Galaxy A6 and A6+ models that are supposed to launch in Europe, Russia and Middle-East bear the model numbers SM-A600FN and SM-A605G respectively. As for the US, both these smartphones were spotted with FCC IDs A3LSMA605FN and A3LSMA600FN respectively. As far as specifications are concerned, the A6 duo will feature the same internals in every region it will be sold.

Galaxy A6 specs rumored

The smaller Galaxy A6 will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7870 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. It is an Octa-core processor and is found in a number of Galaxy J series smartphones. Moving on, the bigger Galaxy A6+ will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 which is much popular among mid-rangers though it’s almost two years old now. But, the A6+ will come with 4GB of RAM rather than 3GB like the A6. Last but not the least, both will run on Samsung Experience 9.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
