Samsung to release One UI 4.0 Beta for Galaxy S20 soon!

Last month, Samsung initiated the One UI 4.0 Beta program for the Galaxy S21 and the new Galaxy Z foldable series. Reportedly, the company is now ready to release the new beta build for the predecessor lineup. And, the Galaxy S20 family is next on the list to get the beta software update.

The information was revealed by the Galaxy S Manager via his latest answer post. He mentioned that the next Galaxy S20 update will be an Android 12-based One UI 4 beta version. However, though we know that the Galaxy S20 series will grab the update next, the release date is still a secret.

While answering a query, he proposed the firmware version number ending with ‘EUI4’ is the last to run on One UI 3.1 update. He further added that the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 update for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra is in the developing stage.

We assume that the One UI 4.0 Beta for the Galaxy S20 series will be released in the next few days or by mid-November. To mention, the South Korean units of the devices are operating the firmware version ‘G98*NKSU1EUI4’ with October 2021 security patch. That implies the update will hit its home country first, later followed by the other regions.

The users need to install the Samsung Members app to keep a track of beta program status. On the other hand, the stable Android 12 One UI 4.0 build for the Galaxy S21 lineup will begin unfurling in December 2021.
