Few days ago we heard that Sony is testing Android 4.3 firmware for the Xperia SP. And today finally after long wait, Sony started seeding Android 4.3 update the Xperia SP smartphone.
The update carries a firmware number 12.1.A.0.266 and currently Xperia SP users in Australia getting the update but within few days every Xperia SP user around the globe will get it. Update brings all the goodies of Android 4.3 along with performance improvement and few Sony’s tweaks. Sony Xperia SP could also possibly get Android 4.4 along with Xperia Z, Xperia ZR in near future but nothing can be said surely.
