Sony is rolling out Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to Sony Xperia Go, Xperia Sola and Xperia U. Sony is fulling its promise of updating most 2011 phones and tablets to Ice Cream Sandwich. If your phones are on contract than you have to wait little bit more. While, all three devices get almost same features in this update, while the Xperia Sola will receive an exclusive new feature, called “Glove Mode” this is based on company’s Floating Touch technology present in sola.

  • Extended standby mode, increasing standby time by up to four times (depending on user-profile and data consumption)
  • Lock screen with improved functionality
  • Resizable widgets for improved personalization
  • Improved control of your mobile data consumption
  • Recent Apps button for a clear overview of your applications
