US Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9 starts receiving Android 10 Update [T-Mobile barred]

Android 10 rollout for flagship Samsung smartphones is continuing around the Globe. After the same update rollout on locked and unlocked devices in Europe, the US Unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is now receiving the Android 10 update. It’s been around a month since the Korean giant has started the One UI 2.0 based Android 10 rollout on the last year’s flagships.

Initially, the udapte started on Exynos variants in Europe and later arrived on Snapdragon ones in the US. The Galaxy Note 9 bearing model number SM-N960U1 has started the receiving the over the air update in the US. The update with the firmware version N960U1UEU3DTA5  weighs over 1.9GB in size.

Along with the luxuries of Android 10, the company also packed January Security patch 2020. The update is gradually rolling out to the US unlocked Galaxy Note 9 variants. It may take a few hours or days to reach each unit in the country.

However, the update won’t be available on devices using the T-Mobile network.  It may take few more weeks, or months to officially get the Android 10 based update.

Moreover, Samsung is rolling Android 10 Update with One UI 2.0 for Galaxy S9 across several countries. Some of the Samsung flagship devices like Galaxy S9 and S10 have tasted February 2020 security patch also.

Additionally, Note 9 was launched in 2018 with Snapdragon 845 or Exynos 9810 chipset. It features a 6.4-inch  Super AMOLED display with the resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The device carries a dual 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It comes with a 4000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging.
