Vivo Y02 launched with Android 12 Go Edition and a 5000 mAh battery

Vivo finally introduced a new entry-level smartphone running on the Android 12 Go edition in India. The new smartphone offers some attractive features consisting of a whole new elegant design, a 5000mAh battery, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage options. The smartphone is currently retailing for Rs 8999 which roughly translates to $110. Let’s have a look at the other specifications of the Vivo Y02 in detail:

Vivo Y02 Specifications

The newly launched smartphone comes with a 6.51-inch 720p IPS LCD display having a waterdrop-style notch and 1600 x 720 pixels resolution. It is bundled with MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

In the camera section, it carries an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calling. There are multiple connectivity options such as 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and GNSS. Furthermore, there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack, a MicroSD card slot and a MicroUSB port.

The smartphone carries a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. In addition to these hardware specifications, the smartphone appears to offer Eye Protection Mode for an optimal viewing experience. It runs on Funtouch OS 12 featuring Face Wake, Easy Share, and iManager.

The smartphone is retailing in two colour options Orchid Blue and Cosmic Grey.
