Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra leak reveals 50MP, secondary screen on the rear side

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is not yet announced by the company but was leaked by a Filipino YouTuber named TECH BUFF PH. The video is now taken down. The smartphone is expected to be M2012K1G handset which is codenamed as ‘star’. The handset M2012K1G was recently certified with the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) in Europe and BIS (BUREAU of Indian Standards) in India.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is seen to have a massive rear camera portion which almost covers the top half of the smartphone’s back. It appears to have a triple camera including a periscope zoom lens. The camera unit also seems to include a ‘120X Ultra Pixel AI camera’, a secondary screen and a triple LED flashlight. The YouTuber also revealed the smartphone in black and white variant colours. Any app present on the phone can be seen on the secondary screen at the smartphone’s back. It appeared that the rear camera can be used to take selfie snaps. 

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra specifications

The smartphone is expected to host a 6.8-inch OLED screen with curved edges, WQHD+ resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It is appeared to have a 20MP selfie camera in the top left corner. Moreover, there will be a massive 5,000mAh battery which supports 67W fast charging and 10W reverse charging.

Regarding the camera, it seems to have a 50MP primary camera, 48MP wide-angle camera and a 48MP periscope telephoto lens. It will run on MIUI 12.5. The smartphone seems to equipped with Harman Kardon dual speakers and in screen build fingerprint reader.

Its display is supported by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and the device also seems to offer IP68 rated dust and water resistance.

There is no official information on the announcement of Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. However, it is expected to launch very soon as it is already spotted on the EEC and BIS certifications. There are two other Mi 11 series smartphones launching soon. One is a mid-ranger Mi 11 Lite and the other is high-end Mi 11 Pro.
