Xiaomi Mi A2 and A3 starts getting June 2020 Security patch update in some regions [OTA download file included]

Xiaomi is updating all it’s old & new devices by sending software updates and security patches regularly. Just a day ago, Xiaomi rolled out MIUI 12 stable update for Redmi K30 and Mi 10 Lite Zoom. Now, the company started rolling out June 2020 security patch update for both Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A3.

Talking about the Mi A2 update, it brings the latest security patch, fixes all the prominent security loopholes and the issues that were listed last month on Mi & Google community forums. It will also improve overall system security and enhances stability.

According to the changelog provided by the company, no new features are added. The update comes with the firmware version 11.0.11.0.QDIMIXM and it is currently rolling out only for the global variant. It will be released on the rest of the variants shortly within the few days.

Xiaomi Mi A3 update

Furthermore, Xiaomi Mi A3 is also getting a June 2020 Security Patch update. As usual, the update includes the latest security patch. The update appears with the firmware version 11.0.3.0.QFQEUXM and it is currently rolling out only for the European region. However, it will be released in other markets shortly.

Both the updates are rolling out in staged manners, and it may take some time to reach each unit.

To check the update manually, navigate to the Settings> Software updates> Check for Updates. If the update is available then download it from the like below.
