Oppo R15 Pro starts getting ColorOS 7 based Android 10 trial update


Oppo is releasing Android 10 based Color OS 7 stable update & trial programs for all it’s latest smartphones from the past few days. As promised earlier and according to the Oppo ColorOS 7 update roadmap, the company started rolling out the ColorOS 7 (Android 10) Trail version program for  Oppo R15 Pro users. The trial update is rolling out only for users who have applied for the testing before itself.

Steps for Registering to Oppo R15 Pro for ColorOS 7 Trail program

1. At first, make sure that your mobile is running any of the Firmware versions mentioned below.

  • CPH1831EX_11.C.36_1360_202005271638
  • CPH1831EX_11.C.35_1350_202004140140

2. Trail Version:

  • CPH1831EX_11.F.12_2120_202005130426

3. Navigate to “Settings – Software Updates”, tap the settings icon in the upper right corner, tap “Trial Version”, fill in the information, select the must-know checkbox, and tap “Apply Now

Coming to the availability, the first batch of the Oppo R15 Pro Trial Version Program will include up to 2,000 users only. As of now, this update is currently rolling out only in India, Thailand, and Malaysia. However, it will be released shortly for other countries too.

Note: Before registering for the trial program and you may encounter some bugs and are expected to report these bugs to us to help us solve these problems.
