Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro with 1.64-inch display launched in China for ¥399

Along with the launch of the Xiaomi 12S series, the company also unveiled the Mi Band 7 Pro in China today. This is the third smart wearable from the Band 7 series after the Mi Smart Band 7 and Mi Smart Band 7 NFC that was launched back in May 2022. Needless to say, the Pro model is a premium version of the vanilla Band 7. Let’s take a look at the new fitness device.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro features a rectangular metal texture frame. At the front, it carries a massive AMOLED screen measuring 1.64-inches which is 5ATM rated for splash resistance. The panel offers a screen resolution of 280 x 456 pixels, a 326ppi pixel density, a 70% screen-to-body ratio, Always-on Display support, and a 2.5D glass on top for protection.

In addition to this, the new Mi Band 7 Pro is the first device in the series to arrive with a built-in GPS. With this onboard, the user can leave their phone behind, while the band will continue to track the outdoor activity. Also, the sensor will allow tacking locations much more accurately. Besides, it supports NFC, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, QZSS, Bluetooth 5.2, and Xiao AI voice assistant.

Regarding features, the smart wearable offers 117 sports modes. This includes 10 running training courses and 14 professional sports modes. The other common health features include an all-day heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracker, step count, calorie count, and more.

In terms of backup, the Mi Band 7 Pro ships with a 235 mAh battery. The company claims that the unit can last up to 12 days on a single charge. Moreover, the band is equipped with quick-release bands to facilitate easy band changes.

Price and Availability

The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 7 Pro will go on sale in China this week. It is available in multiple color options, including Blue, Orange, Gren, Pink, Grey, and more. The wearable costs ¥399. Interestingly, the company is offering an introductory price of ¥379 which is valid till July 7.
