Xiaomi pushes first update to Mix Fold 2

Yesterday, Xiaomi launched its second generation of foldable smartphones, i.e., the Mi Mix Fold 2. It runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box on the software side. Xiaomi is quick to push a fresh update to the smartphone. The first update for the smartphone comes with many fixes and optimization. Since the phone is only available in China, the update is live in China.

The update comes with the build number V13.1.6.0.SLRCNXM. It optimizes the system performance. It also improves the system security and stability of the device. No other changes are mentioned in the changelog. It is rolling out as OTA and will take some time to reach every unit of Mi Mix Fold 2. There are no links to download the update manually.

The Mi Mix Fold 2 features the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It gets the latest Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. On the optics side, it gets a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 50MP IMX 766 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, and an 8MP telephoto sensor. It is backed by a 4500 mAh battery that supports a 67W fast charging tech.
