This update is only rolling out to the devices on which users have mistakenly installed the MIUI 9.5.6.0 update. It aims to fix all those existing Camera quality issues, performance lags, malfunctioning of Portrait mode, Dual VoLte support and much more. This new update comes with the version MIUI 9.5.11.0.OEIMIFA and weighs around 193MB’s. This update brings April security patch to the device and additionally comes with an updated version of Mi Video app.

As per Xiaomi, the update will fix the Dual VoLte support but as reported by Fonearena Dual VoLte is not working for them with an Airtel and Jio SIM card. Although the users on Mi Community are reporting that Dual 4G is working for them, so this can be a device specific problem. The update is coming as an OTA and will probably be the last MIUI 9 version update for the device. Xiaomi has already stopped development of the MIUI 9 as on 31st of May MIUI 10 will be going official. For more Android news stay tuned to GoAndroid.
