A couple of months earlier, Poco hinted a new smartphone will launch soon with a top-end Qualcomm processor, Poco F2. However, the prediction proved to be wrong as the new leak reveals that it will power MediaTek Dimensity 1200 instead. Reportedly, Xiaomi is ready to uncover the new Redmi gaming aka Poco F2 smartphone in the last week of April.

Poco F2 is likely to power a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset with an octa-core processor and Adreno 650 GPU. It may ship with Android 10 based MIUI out of the box.
According to rumours, the gaming smartphone will carry a rear quad camera module consisting of a 64MP primary, 13 MP ultrawide, 8 MP Telephoto, and a 2 MP Macro sensor. On the other hand, the front will house a 20MP motorized pop-up snapper. The camera will give access to basic features like 30x Digital Zoom, auto flash, face detection, and touch to focus.

The smartphone will be made official in a single storage variant of 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage. Also, this might be unexpandable as well. As per the listing in-network access certification, Poco F2 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W of fast charging support.
Regarding connectivity, the new device will indulge a dual-band Wi-Fi, 5.1 Bluetooth, NFC, GPS with A-GPS GLONASS, USB connectivity, 4G dual-SIM support, and an on-screen fingerprint recognition sensor. Along with these, it will comprise of Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, and Gyroscope.

Redmi gaming smartphone aka Poco F2 might debut in vibrant colour variants of Sky Blue, Moonlight White, Starry Purple, and Space Grey. It is tipped to be launched in the last week of April at a price of 2000 Yuan i.e Rs. 22,861.
