One of the leading smartphone makers, Sony accidentally confirmed that its upcoming smartphone, the Sony Xperia Z2 will be available to its customers in the United States via the telecommunication giants: Verizon.
This revalation was made by Sony after it “accidentaly” uploaded photos of its smartphone Xperia Z2 with the Verizon branding on it. The photos were taken down in a matter of minutes from its official Google+ page. The photo gives rise to speculations to Sony reverting back on its previous statement made about a week ago that the Xperia Z2 will be available to its potential customers unlocked without any carrier discounts in the States.
Nevertheless, this news has brought about happiness to many faces. The only other Sony smartphone available in the United States through a telecommunications carrier is the Z2’s elder sibling, the Xperia Z1S. This is currenly available thorugh T-mobile.
