Android Oreo Adoption Rate has been increased by 7.5%

It’s been a long time since Android Oreo is available in the market. But after analyzing older stats we came to know that only a small amount of devices are running it. Even Android P is in the market and will soon be shipped with the forthcoming smartphones. According to these facts, only a few brands are there which are rolling out Android Oreo for their devices. But as per fresh reports, it looks like the situation has improved a lot comparatively. So let’s know more about it.

Clubbing the Android 8.0 Oreo and 8.1 Oreo now 12.1% devices all over the world are running this OS. Google’s new Android adoption report for July is out now and it provides us with some exciting information. Compared to the month of April Android Oreo’s adoption has been increased by 7.5% and according to us, the growth is slower than expected. When it comes to Android Nougat there is no major change and it is still at 30.8%.

The users having Marshmallow on their device has been decreased by 2.5% which practically is a good thing but the rate seems to be declining slowly. You can also read more info in the chart provided above. According to us, Android OS here should learn something from iOS. Even the ages-old iPhone 5S is getting the iOS 12 update.
