Android Version Report: Lollipop at 21% and Kitkat Dives to 39.2%


Google outs monthly report for the Android version distribution measured from last 15 days traffic on Google Play Store. This time Lollipop growth increased and now it is sticked to 21%.

Everytime new versions scale up faster but the already matured up versions delay in at slow pace. This time also same story is happening. Lollipop has attained 21.2%  share this month in comparison with 18% last month. Similarly, Kitkat is on the downfall with 39.2% this month back down only few points.

Jelly bean is also down at Jelly Bean is down to 31.8 percent from 33.6 in August.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is expected to be released on September 29th along with new Nexus devices. So hope next month we will see Marshmallow in the graph.
