Another Realme smartphone with Dimensity 1100 chipset could launch this month

According to the sources, Realme could launch another smartphone with Dimensity 1100 chipset. Other devices that are equipped with the same chipset are Vivo X60t and S9. The Chinese company recently made an announcement of the Realme GT Neo smartphone that features the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. It is the world’s first smartphone to carry this chipset.

Specifications of the Dimensity 1100 chipset

The Dimensity 1100 SoC packs four Arm Cortex-A78 cores that go up to 2.6GHz and the other four Arm Cortex-A55 cores up to 2GHz. It also has the Arm Mali-G77 MC9 GPU and supports up to 16GB LDDR4x memory at the max. The chipset can support up to 144Hz refresh rate and 2,520 x 1,080 pixels resolution. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, multi-mode 5G, 4G, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2, and FM Radio.

Rumours say that Realme is now prepping to launch a smartphone that will be powered by the Dimensity 1100 SoC. As the reports say, Redmi was also working on launching a smartphone that would be powered by the same chipset. The smartphone could launch towards the end of this month.

Recently, a device with the code RMX3142 was found in the Chinese TENAA listings and it could be the upcoming smartphone by Realme. However, there is no news on the launch of the device as of now.
