Apple A16 Bionic fails to impress against MediaTek Dimensity 9200 in GPU Benchmark

MediaTek is on the verge of announcing the latest and the most powerful chipset i.e. the Dimensity 9200 SoC. As per reports, the new chipset will bring in major performance upgrades and refinements. In a recent benchmark report, the MediTek 9200 SoC surpassed the Apple A16 Bionic’s GPU performance.

As per GF Benchmark, the MediaTek 9200 scored 328fps in GFX 1080p Manhatten 3.0 off-screen test and the Apple A16 Bionic touched 280fps. Similarly, Manhattan 3.1 off-screen test, Dimensity 9200 attached 228fps, meanwhile, Apple A16 Bionic touched 200fps. However, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 gets 281gps and 188fps in the respective screen tests.

As per previous leaks and reports, the upcoming MediaTek DImensity 9200 will feature a maximum clock speed of 2.05GHz and a base frequency of 2.85GHz. The chipset will house efficiency cores which will run at 2.0GHz clock speed while carrying Mali G715 GPU SoC. The configuration helped to attain a combined score of 1,266,102 on AnTuTu.

For the past couple of years, Apple silicon is effectively performing well then its Android counterparts. The initial results of the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 seem to overturn things in the coming time. According to a recent report, the chipset will come on some most premium smartphones next year.
