Asus rolling out December Security Patch on Zenfone Max Pro M1 and M2

Asus starts rolling out Android security patch for the month of December 2019 on its entry-level phones i.e. Zenfone MAX Pro M1 and M2.  As both phones are priced very aggressively that results, both the phones are quite popular now. The users will be very happy to get this update.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 update comes with software version 16.2017.1912.060 that is based on Android Pie. Along with the security patch, the update fixes some issues in the Camera app and status bar. Talking about Zenfone Max Pro M2 the update carries the software version 16.2017.1912.072 that is about 150MB in size. Along with security patch, Zenfone Max Pro also packs with some fixes for notch occasionally showing issue after rotation and icons misaligned issue.

Asus is rolling out this update in phases so it might take some time to reach each and every user out there. You can check it manually if the update notification is not popped up on your display, by going through the settings >> system.
