Though Google has been offering the Data Encryption on some pf the device running on Android, but the encryption options were not enabled by default. And so only a few people knew about it, and most of the people don’t even try to change the encryption settings. And now Google is going to tweak the upcoming Android L such that the encryption feature is on by default.

“As part of our next Android release, encryption will be enabled by default out of the box, so you won’t even have to think about turning it on,” said Niki Christoff, a spokeswoman from Google.

“It’s so awesome, as someone who has worked on these issues for a long time, to see these two companies switch their defaults to where these things will be strongly encrypted, and rightly so,” said the Joseph Lorenzo Hall who is the Center of Democracy and Technology.

So with this Android L release the Android Devices will be much more secure and stable than ever before. What do you think about it? let us know in the comments below.
