Oppo is actively working on the stable ColorOS 13. It will start rolling out to the compatible devices once the build becomes stable and the users will be able to download ColorOS 13. The company is tirelessly working on the closed beta to offer a stable experience or public build for all the compatible devices. According to the official list of compatible devices, the stable rollout for ColorOS 13 will be complete by the first half of next year.
Download ColorOS 13 [Android 13]
The user can easily download the ColorOS 13 if your device is on the compatible list. If the device is in the above list, and the update is rolled out, then
- Goto Settings app.
- Now, Tap on the Software Update section.
- It will take some time to check.
- Now click on the Download Now button.
- Now tap on the install button (The process may take some time).
- The device will reboot automatically during the process.
ColorOS 13 Features
Oppo recently unveiled ColorOS 13 globally with several new features such as Aquamorphic Design, AOD styles and Home Screen, etc. The ColorsOS 13 is a fully revamped skin with options such as Multi Connect, Meeting Assistant, Kid Space, Added more Security and Blossom to restrict smartphone usage.
Aquamorphic Design
It is the most visible change that is part of the ColorOS 13. It is a new design language that brings modern and fluidic design. The adaptive layouts with the ability to dynamically scale are part of ColorOS 13. As per Oppo, the new UI brings “water-inspired elements” and “bring some more vitality into everyday life.”
AOD Styles – All new AOD designs
There are several AOD styles that are present on the latest ColorOS now. Even though there’s a new Spotify Integration that allows you to control music from Lockscreen. Moreover, the company is set t integrate widgets from Zomato and Swiggy in India.
As per Oppo, “The Always-On Display animations reveal the changes in the homes where animals live, based on daily temperature changes. Users can have an insight into the big world of the earth from the small screen of the mobile phone, calling on attention to climate change and the earth we live on together.”
Home Screen
There’s another change that allows the users to change the folder size. Moreover, the OnePlus-like shelf is also part of the ColorOS 13. There are several other small changes to the device.
Notification Pane
Notification Pane also got a facelift on the ColorOS 13. There are now two large tiles on the left and a music tile on the right. Better auto-brightness feature, music playback control and other things are part of the new update.
Blossom Wallpaper
It is an AOD style consisting of a flower that resembles phone usage throughout the day. The flower turns metallic if you use the device beyond the limit.
Multi Connect
The useful feature allows the user to connect the ColorOS 13 to Windows PC and share files up and down. Moreover, the user can view notifications and can interact with them.
Security
To further enhance the ColorOS security, the new skin comes with Privacy Dashboard, Auto Pixelate, and auto-deletion of clipboard history, Private Safe, etc.
