All the major companies like Google, Facebook and twitter tracks everything what you do online. Today almost every browser has a incognito mode, but if it is not showing history that doesn’t mean it is never recorded by the browser. Incognito Mode is just a marketing tool by Browsers out there.

Now DuckDuckGO comes up to protect your personal data while you are online with simply a browser extension and mobile app. The updated app and extension is available on all platforms like Chrome, Android, iOS, Safari and Firefox.

DuckDuckGo Extension and app will show you the Privacy Grade Rating when you visit a website. It will give you a rating between (A-F). This rating grades will tells you how protected you are on a particular website. The Privacy Grade is scored automatically based on the prevalence of hidden tracker networks, encryption availability, and website privacy practices.

According to DuckDuckGo CEO Gabriel Weinberg,

This shows the appetite for privacy online is only getting stronger. And, says Weinberg, the more people that use tools like DuckDuckGo’s, the more tech companies will be forced to reconsider their business model. “We’ll collectively raise the Internet’s privacy grade, ending the widespread use of invasive tracking,” writes Weinberg. It’s ambitious to say the least.
