The update that’s hitting the phablet carries the firmware version N950FXXU3CRC1. It should’ve all the features of pure Android Oreo and handful of Samsung’s own custom features that we’ve seen on Galaxy S8/S9 branded as Samsung Experience 9.0. Well, the Galaxy Note 8 Oreo does bundle the Note Series exclusive add-ons. Such as S-PEN Air Command, Live Drawing, Screen Memo and so on.
Moreover, Knox security(3.1) and the kernel version is updated to a newer version. As an icing on the cake, the major update comes in at with blessings and protection from latest Security patch dated, 1st March. Thereby, Galaxy Note 8 users can now rejoice after a long months of waiting as they’re getting a full-fledged firmware with key components updated to the latest available, all at once.
Galaxy Note 8 users not only in France, can now start the usual drill of checking software update on the device by heading over to Settings>>Software Update. If not available, don’t panic as the update will be available on your device in coming few days.
