Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be the most feature-packed tablet from the company. The device is a part of the Galaxy Tab S8 series which will debut in the next few weeks. The lineup includes three tabs— Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. Ahead of the launch, we have the entire specs of the Ultra model in our hands.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will hold a 14.6-inch WQXGA+ notch display 6.3mm slim bezels. It will measure 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.5mm in dimensions with S Pen support that gets attached magnetically to the back. You can purchase the tab in three memory configurations— 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will draw power from the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. On the software front, it will boost Android 12 based One UI 4.1 out of the box. The One UI 4.1 will be the next iteration of Samsung’s custom skin which is ought to bring new customization and personalization options along with other extensive features.
Additionally, the tab will have a new ‘DeX Portrait’ mode onboard. It will allow the user to convert DeX from landscape to portrait orientation. Moreover, this is the first time that a Galaxy Tab will get a dedicated Samsung Health app. In fact, the app is redesigned in a 3-column layout with in-depth analysis support.
Despite measuring only 5.5mm in thickness, the Tab S8 Ultra will house dual cameras on both sides. On the front, is equipped with two 12MP lenses serving as primary shooter and ultra-wide snapper respectively. On the other side, there’s a 6MP ultra-wide unit alongside a 13MP primary sensor.
