Geekbench reveals Redmi K30 Pro with Snapdragon 865 and 8GB RAM

Redmi launched the Redmi K30 5G and Redmi K30 4G in December 2019. But unlike the Redmi K20 series launch, the brand did not announce the Redmi K30 Pro at the same event. Moreover, the company did not even disclose the existence of a Pro variant. Anyways, we were certain it to exist and now a Geekbench listing confirms the same, revealing the device to feature Snapdragon 865 and 8GB RAM.

As per a listing on Geekbench, the upcoming Redmi K30 Pro will be indeed powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 clocked at 1.8GHz. However, the name of the chip is not mentioned straightforward but it is referenced by its identifier – ‘ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 1 part 3341 revision 0’. The variant that was benchmarked has 8GB RAM but there might be a higher variant with extra gigs of RAM. As expected, the listing also reveals the phone to run Android 10 out of the box which is obvious for a device launching in 2020.

As far as Geekbench CPU scores are concerned, the Redmi K30 Pro scores 903 points in the single-core test and 3362 points in the multi-core test respectively. Unfortunately, the benchmark listing does not reveal any further information about this forthcoming phone. Anyways, we can expect the company to start teasing its specifications weeks ahead of its official launch.

That said, we can expect Redmi to unveil the Redmi K30 Pro after its parent company Xiaomi debuts its Mi 10 series.
